Sports Arbitrage Trading Log - Profit this week
Week ending 23rd April 06
Opening Balance = $2,587.44
Bookmakers funded = 7
Bookmakers Used = 5
Number of Trades = 8 (2 still pending)
Profit = $37.76, 1.46%
Closing Balance = $2,625.20
Its just after midnight and I decided that it will be easier to just post each week based on the actual balance, rather than waiting for the pending arbs to be played out. So while I placed 8 this week, one game is played tomorrow and another...LOL... will be played on the 11th June. hehe..
Lucky I only placed a small amount on it. So I will do all like this now, jsut report each week as the funds stand at mifnight sunday, so if a week comes where there are no arbs placed, yet a profit, you know its because of a pending bet
ALthough the percentage and profit is less than last week, this was a better week in my mind because i placed 8 perfect arbs. They all made a good $5-$10 profit each, no mistakes, no hedges, no break-evens. (previous week we had 2 arbs pay $0, 1 pay $0.45, and 1 cost us $0.10..... It was simply because of one freaky high arb that we made such good profit. But then, thats part of the game and one of the things you come to count on as much as the regular 1%ers which will earn the regular income....
I need to get money out of two bookmakers who aren't performing. I should probably just withdraw rather than waiting for an arb which I can use to pull money out of them...
